Minister of Defense Leads Celebration of International Day of Working Women, Advocates for Gender Equality in Armed Forces

Jorge Taiana, the Minister of Defense, took center stage on Wednesday as he led the celebration of the International Day of Working Women at the Libertador Building. Women from the Armed Forces and the Ministry participated in the event, which included the inauguration of an exhibition of allusive photos and a concert by the military band "Juana Azurduy," composed of women from the Argentine Army.   Taiana spoke about the importance of women's growing participation in the Armed Forces, emphasizing that it enriches them and makes them more representative of society.
