Chelsea's Champions League Campaigns: A Review from 2019 to 2023

                             2019-20: After finishing top of their group which consisted of Valencia, Ajax, and Lille, Chelsea started their knockout stage campaign with a 1-0 loss to Valencia in the first leg of the round of 16. However, they turned things around in the second leg, winning 2-0 at home to progress to the quarterfinals on a 2-1 aggregate scoreline. Unfortunately, they were unable to progress any further as they were knocked out by eventual champions Bayern Munich in the quarterfinals. Chelsea Secures Place in Champions League Quarterfinals with 2-0 Victory over Borussia Dortmund

  On Tuesday, Chelsea secured their place in the quarterfinals of the UEFA Champions League with a 2-0 victory over Borussia Dortmund at Stamford Bridge. The Blues entered the match with a 1-0 deficit from the first leg in Germany, but they were able to turn the tie around with a convincing performance in front of their home fans.                               Chelsea started the match brightly and dominated possession in the early stages. They created several chances but were unable to find the back of the net until the 43rd minute when Raheem Sterling broke the deadlock. The England international found himself unmarked in the box and calmly slotted the ball past Dortmund goalkeeper Marwin Hitz to give Chelsea the lead.
